Nice day at the beach today... Us white Alaskans mostly hide out in the shade, but a few dips in the Mediterranean gave a refreshing reprieve to the heat from the Sitges sun.

The Heart of Sitges
One of the most beautiful corners in the heart of Sitges just happens to have an optical store at it's base. Why is this important you might ask... Well, when one drops his sunglasses and bends the frame, a quick trip to an optical shop was just the ticket.

Sandhill Cranes

The arctic terns have arrived from Antarctica. That's right, each year these amazing birds migrate 12,000 miles from Antarctica to breed here in Alaska.

Eagle vs Raven
A raven was pestering this eagle at Lake Hood. The eagle finally got tired of this pesky nuisance and took flight, meeting up with another eagle on the other side of the lake and together they flew off into the distance.
