Eagle vs Raven

A raven was pestering this eagle at Lake Hood. The eagle finally got tired of this pesky nuisance and took flight, meeting up with another eagle on the other side of the lake and together they flew off into the distance.

Alaska's Spring Explosion - Day 1


The summer leaves seem to suddenly appear here in Alaska. We thought we would document this as it happens. In this photo the first buds have just appeared.
