So far this winter Anchorage has a season total of 81 inches of snow... on track to beat the snowiest winter on record of 132.8 inches in 1954-1955.

Just an hour drive from Anchorage, Knik Glacier is arguably the closest and most accessible glacier to the largest number of residents in Alaska.

Alyeska Ski Resort has some breathtaking winter views. On this day the temperature was 15 degrees warmer at the top of the mountain than at the bottom. (15 at top, and 0 at bottom)
