Finding Your Inner Flower Child...

We had an awesome time a couple of weeks ago creating some Tie Dye t-shirts with friends. Who knew that we each had an inner flower child that was bursting to get out! :)

Each musher carries with them a guest rider for this opening ceremonial leg of the race through Anchorage. Official start is tomorrow in Willow, ending 1049 miles later in Nome. --K&R

Awesome Class!

I went to an awesome class tonight (Sushi 103) to learn how to make Sushi. They only expected to have 4 students, but I was the only one who showed up. I received excellent one-on-one instruction! Here are my creations: inro sushi, bo sushi, oshi zushi, inari zushi, fukusa (chakin) zuzhi. --Kirt

Ice Sculptures

We went downtown today to see how the ice sculptures are going. Most of the parkstrip in Anchorage is covered with creative ice inventions for the 50th Anniversary of Statehood celebration. --K&R
