Frostbite Footrace - Fur Rondy 2009

The lack of sunlight this time of year makes some Alaskans crazy enough to run this race in freezing weather. Some in just shorts, some dressed up, and some as groups of friends or family... but all for fun... --K&R

Awesome Class!

I went to an awesome class tonight (Sushi 103) to learn how to make Sushi. They only expected to have 4 students, but I was the only one who showed up. I received excellent one-on-one instruction! Here are my creations: inro sushi, bo sushi, oshi zushi, inari zushi, fukusa (chakin) zuzhi. --Kirt

Non-traditional Dinner

We decided to do something different for dinner this year, so we made Cashew Salmon, some homemade fried rice, broccoli, & fresh rolls. It was awesome! --K&R

Traditional Breakfast

We did have a very traditional breakfast of Sourdough Pancakes. I think that has been our Christmas breakfast every year that we've been together. --K

Our tree this year was a bit non-traditional. After returning from Spain, we didn't really decorate much for the holidays.

Well at least we made it back without a scratch, but we can't say the same for our luggage. --K&R

Seattle with SNOW!

We missed our flight connection in London, so we ended up having to stay the night at a friends house in Seattle. This bus was in a ditch near his house. --K&R
