Ice Sculptures

We went downtown today to see how the ice sculptures are going. Most of the parkstrip in Anchorage is covered with creative ice inventions for the 50th Anniversary of Statehood celebration. --K&R

Fireworks Alaska Style
With tempuratures approaching -15 degF in downtown Anchorage, we watched the Alaska 50th Anniversary Statehood Celebration fireworks from the warm confines of the 14 floor of Inlet Towers Hotel.

Non-traditional Dinner

We decided to do something different for dinner this year, so we made Cashew Salmon, some homemade fried rice, broccoli, & fresh rolls. It was awesome! --K&R
Traditional Breakfast

We did have a very traditional breakfast of Sourdough Pancakes. I think that has been our Christmas breakfast every year that we've been together. --K

Seattle with SNOW!
We missed our flight connection in London, so we ended up having to stay the night at a friends house in Seattle. This bus was in a ditch near his house. --K&R
