Paul Kelly
Paul and his nephew Dan played for 2.5 hours and made it to the L's last night for his A to Z concert series. The rest of the alphabet is tonight. We are looking forward another night of spectacular songs from one of the greatest singer-songwriters of our time.
New Hat
Put my birthday money from my mother in law to good use and found a great new hat while exploring downtown Seattle.

Mountains of snow

Skiing at Alyeska
I picked a great day to play hooky from work. Friday was spectacular at Alyeska. They have an incredible 190 inches of snow at mid mountain, and even more at the top where these pictures were taken.

Aurora Borealis
Had to stay up until midnight to get these shots, but it was worth it. Fantastic display or aurora from our deck last night.

Sunday Ski
Went skiing along the coastal trail. Beautiful day for a moose sighting. He was content being buried in 4 feet of snow. Not a peep as people walked right past him with their dogs.
